PUBLIC NOTICE
The National Revenue Authority would like the Public to note that despite all attempts to get some State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and Private Companies to comply with payment of debts and arrears owed to the State, these institutions are yet to comply with such appeal from the NRA. The Public is therefore informed that the NRA in such circumstances is left with no other alternative but to invoke all Laws available within its mandate to get such companies (State owned or private) to comply with the payment of all their debts owed to the National Revenue Authority. The NRA has alerted Bankers to stop all operations on accounts belonging to these Companies until further notice.
As at the date of issue of this public notice, the NRA has delayed further actions pending a 7 (seven) day ultimatum starting Wednesday 24th to Wednesday 31st July 2019 for all Companies (State Owned or Private) to either commence payment or make payment plans with the NRA for the offset of such debts. Failure to comply will attract further measures like instructing the Banks to sweep all accounts belonging to such Companies as a means to recover Revenues belonging to the State. You have been warned!!!!!!!!
