Background
Since 1963, CRS Sierra Leone (CRS SL) exhibited a commitment to working with the most vulnerable and marginalized people of Sierra Leone in promoting human dignity in the areas of health, education, agriculture, and urban resilience and in responding to emergencies. Therefore, CRS Country Programs is looking for potential firm/individual to produce Jingle Messaging for Feedback Complaint and Response Mechanism (FCRM) for its program implementation in Sierra Leone at a competitive price and expected delivery period.
General Requirements
1. Firm must be registered to conduct business and in compliance with governmental tax regulations in Sierra Leone.
2. Qualified Individual working for radio or television stations with at least three years’ experience in jingle production in Sierra Leone
3. CRS retains the right to reject, cancel, negotiate, amend, split, and accept any offer, without consideration of the lowest offer.

Qualification and Experience:
ACCA with at least six (6) years post qualification experience or Masters Degree in Accounting, Auditing or Finance with at least ten (10) years post qualification.

Summary of Duties:
An Assistant Auditor-General (AAG) is the Head of Audit Service Sierra Leone’s regional office or the Head of the Performance Audit Division in the Western Region; and is the officer-in-charge of all administrative and technical activities of of the division. The AAG is seen as a figure of influence and develops and manages working relationships with all stakeholders, at all levels.

Orange Sierra Leone launch the 6th edition of the Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP) in Sierra Leone and 14th edition in Africa and the Middle East to support social innovation and encourage local entrepreneurship.

This will mark the 6th Edition of the OSVP competition in Sierra Leone and 14th edition in Africa and Middle East. The Competition will officially open for submission of applications Monday, March 25th 2024. Applicants from the 17 Orange affiliates in Africa and Middle East including Sierra Leone must apply for both the National and International competition and should submit their applications on or before 26th May 2024 at the website below:

Through this competition, Orange Sierra Leone, as a responsible corporate and social investor, aims to contribute to the human capital development, support local social and environmental innovations, and encourage entrepreneurship in Sierra Leone.

Since 2019, OSVP prize has been awarded to innovative projects in the field of education, healthcare, e-commerce, and agriculture and projects that contribute to achieving sustainable development goals using digital technology. The competition has two stages:

  1. The National Stage:

Applications will be submitted from the 25th March - 26th May 2024 for the National and Women’s competition. At the end of this application phase, a national pitch competition will be held in August 2024 to award the National and Women’s category winners. The winners will receive the following prizes:

  • NLe 200,000 – National Winner
  • NLe 120,000 – Women’s Winner
  1. The International Stage:

The National and Women category winners from each subsidiary in the 17 Orange affiliates in Africa and Middle East will automatically be selected for the international phase. After their evaluation, 10 finalists will be selected. A final jury of African tech influencers will select the top 3 winners of the OSVP International Grand Prize in October/November 2024.

As equal opportunity is a key aspect of Orange policy, an International Women's Prize will also be awarded for the fifth consecutive year. This prize will be awarded to a woman who offers a technological solution to improve the living conditions of women (women’s independence, job creation or preservation, gender data collection, digital and financial inclusion, etc.).

The winners of the international and women’s competition will receive the following prizes:

  • €25,000 for 1st place international winner
  • €15,000 for 2nd place international winner
  • €10,000 for 3rd place international winner
  • €20,000 for Women’s international winner

1. BACKGROUND AND RATIONALE
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a global service provider in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. As a federal public enterprise, GIZ helps the German government and many public and private sector clients to achieve their international cooperation goals in over 130 countries. Together with partners in national governments worldwide as well as with cooperation partners from business, science, and civil society, GIZ works flexibly on effective solutions that offer people perspectives and permanently improve their living conditions.
The project “Health System Strengthening and Epidemic Prevention in Sierra Leone” has 4 Outputs as follows.
Output 1 aims to strengthen selected competencies of service providers in the health sector in the partner district Kailahun, Kambia and Pujehun in a gender-sensitive manner and will support the development of a gender policy, including a policy against sexual harassment in the workplace.
Output 2 aims to strengthen capacities in emergency obstetric and neonatal care in selected health facilities in the partner districts.
Output 3 aims to strengthen the quality assurance of health services, including gender-sensitive community participation in partner districts.
Output 4 aims to strengthen the capacity of selected actors for epidemic prevention and response according to the One Health approach in the partner districts.
2. PURPOSE
The contractor shall provide the following services under Output 3:
Design and implementation of a household survey on satisfaction with and utilization of health facilities in Kambia, Kailahun and Pujehun district.

 3. DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED

• The service provider provides proof of good standing, commercial qualification, payment of taxes and social benefits: Tax Clearance certificate of NRA and NASSIT.
• The service provider is based and registered in Sierra Leone: Certificate of Business Registration and Council Certificate.
• The service provider(s) should have a minimum of five (5) year experience in the tasks outlined and in the targeted areas in Sierra Leone and show a wide understanding of the topic: A brief company profile that holds details of their experiences in delivering on similar tasks is required.
