SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE FOR SIERRA LEONE’S HYDROLOGICAL GROUNDWATER MAPPING (CONSTRUCTION OF THREE (3) EXPLORATORY BOREHOLES)

The National Water Resources Management Agency (NWRMA) has received funds from the Government of Sierra Leone and intends to apply it towards the cost of a consultant that will conduct Sierra Leone’s hydrogeological groundwater mapping (construction of three (3) exploratory boreholes).

The National Water Resources Management Agency now invites sealed bids from both national and International eligible bidders with their respective bid securities for the Mapping of Sierra Leone’s Hydrological Groundwater Resources and the (Construction of three (3) exploratory boreholes for the provision of the following works:

1. Construction of exploratory boreholes.
2. Conduct pump test in exploratory boreholes.
3. Construct borehole slab after construction.

Bidding will be conducted through the open method of the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in the National Public Procurement Authority’s legal instruments and is open to both National and International eligible bidders.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the National Water Resources Management Agency at 29 King Harman Road, Freetown during office hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm from Tuesday 25th August 2021 to Tuesday 7th September 2021.
A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the above office, and upon a payment of a non-refundable fee of Five hundred thousand Leones (Le 500,000) to the following account:

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Twenty million Leones Le (20,000,000) from a reputable commercial bank and must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:30 am on Wednesday 8th September 2021 and will be open thereafter 1:30 pm on the same date, in the presence of bidders or their representative who choose to attend at the address below.
Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened.
