In the wake of the post-election dialogue agreements between the Government of Sierra Leone (GoSL) and the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC), the elected lawmakers of the party will finally take the oath of office in a session scheduled for today Tuesday 7th November, 2023 in the Well of Parliament.

The APC have already released a list of the names of their elected MPs set to take the oath of office in Parliament.
The APC have agreed to engage in the governance structure, with their elected Councillors, Mayors/Chairpersons having already taken their oath of office and after thorough consideration, the APC finalized the list of Members of Parliament who will subscribe to the oath.
The APC’s active involvement in governance, as depicted by the scheduled oath-taking of their elected MPs, signals a step towards their role in shaping the country’s political landscape.
Meanwhile, many elected APC MPs on Sunday 5th November, 2023 graced the occasion of the commissioning of the Expansion and Rehabilitation of the Railway and Pepel Port by Kingho Railway and Port Company Limited, a subsidiary to Leone Rock Metal Group (LRMG), the undisputed leaders in Sierra Leone’s mining industry.
