Hon. Wuyata Songa of Constituency 008 in Kailahun District together with Three Members of Parliament is gracefully representing Sierra Leone at Dublin Castle in the House of the Oireacht as International Congress of Parliamentary Women's Caucuses.

The Sierra Leone delegation delivered a ground breaking presentation about Women's empowerment in decision making. The delegation also made salient contributions on the road to Sierra Leone Parliament and how to enhance women's participation in the country's current political dispensation.

Hon. Wuyata Songa in her passionate desire to ensure the Free Education scheme by His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio thrives, also appealed to the conference to support the Government's Free Education drive which she avowed would be of importance to dynamic young girls whose passionate desire to acquire quality, affordable and accessible education is hampered by the growing economic inequalities faced by their parents.

President Bio in his New Direction Manifesto made commitments towards women's empowerment, participation and Gender Equality.

The Sierra Leone delegation comprising Hon. Lollo (An Independent Candidate in Kailahun) and Hon.Rebecca from Kono is due in Sierra Leone after the end of the International Congress of Parliamentary Women's Caucasus on Wednesday.
