Sierra Leone’s biggest and most reliable leading telecommunications company, Orange Sierra Leone, will tomorrow Friday 4th August, 2023 hold its Fifth Edition of ‘Orange Social Venture Prize’ at the Limkokwing University Hall, Hill Station in Freetown.

The top three finalists for the Tech Queen will battle for the Special Women’s Award Grand Prize of Le50,000,000.00 (Old Notes)

The finalists and their respective companies are as follows: Jenneh Bockarie Barnett –Sierrasister, Hawanatu Sesay – IOT Plant Monitoring Device, and Iyemary Brimah Sallu – Pin-Up Healthcare.

The Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP) is an annual programme organized by Orange Group to showcase innovative young minds by providing financial support as start-ups and putting expertise in the management of businesses using Information Communication Technologies (ICT) through its partner, Innovation Sierra Leone.

Out of the many applications received from ambitious Sierra Leoneans, there was a tedious selection process by reputable independent judges to shortlist the top three finalists that would showcase their talents in front of judges in a bid to select a winner.

Since it started operations in Sierra Leone, Orange (SL) has never failed to surprise its valued customers with cash and other prizes as it seeks to further improve mobile and internet technology in the country.
