CHERICOCO TIPPED TO LEAD APC
Following the constitutional registration of the National Leader of the main opposition All People's Congress (APC), Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara, it emerged last night that the majority of youths, supporters, and stalwarts who matter in the party have predicted their two-time running-mate, Hon. Chernor Ramadan Maju Bah is likely to lead the APC to the 2028 national elections.
According to the party youths who spoke to The Satellite, "Hon. Chernor Bah is focused on cultivating the next generation of leaders in the APC."

The exuberant youths described the shrewd politician and legal luminary as "a man whose move transcribes to development and that his progressive blueprints go beyond ethnicity."
They believe that it is not uncommon to discuss influential figures in Sierra Leone without mentioning Hon. Chernor Bah, aka Chericoco. Many party loyalists averred that they believe in the leadership of Hon. Chericoco because, according to them, "He has consistently demonstrated unwavering loyalty to the APC, and at no point he has betrayed the party.

They also believe that his assiduous, long-term service to the party as a third-time lawmaker in the honourable House of Parliament, Deputy Speaker, Leader of the Opposition in the august body, and two-time running-mate to Dr. Samura Kamara, in both the 2018 and 2023 elections, has made him a trusted, reliable, dedicated leader and a favourite among the general membership of APC.

They also believe that Hon. Chericoco's "unique role and experience are valuable assets that the party needs to move forward."

Political elites in the APC averred that Hon. Chericoco's huge investment in education for the youths and human capital development are very crucial in sustainability, noting that the down-to-earth, erudite politician is notably known for his ability to improve educational infrastructure and to create a significant impact on the lives of many in society.

Other party loyalists described the humble, charismatic politician as a politician whose popularity cuts across ethnicity, region, and religion, adding that he is the most marketable politician for the 2028 national elections.

"Hon. Chericoco's wife hails from Kenema District, Eastern Region, and could be an advantage for the APC to get more votes in that region, come 2028.
