His Excellency President Brig. (Rtd) Dr. Julius Maada Bio has given the responsibility to the Honourable Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh to lead the National Elections Review Committee he has established.

This development took place yesterday Thursday 3rd August, 2023, when the President was making his first address in the Sixth Parliament of the Second Republic of Sierra Leone. He announced the establishment of a National Elections Review Committee to review and make recommendations to improve electioneering process in Sierra Leone.

VP Juldeh Jalloh will lead the committee that will comprised development partners and civil society.

The shrewd Vice President has over ten years of experience as an elections expert who worked for the United Nations.

His technical expertise and people-management skills are vital to delivery on President Bio’s vision to improve the work of Elections Management bodies including the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL).
